Half Day Horse riding tour through Byron Bay’s Hinterland

Soak up extra Horse time with our 1/2 day tour, if you’re feeling peckish you can even add a picnic, just call one of our friendly staff.
Meet at Pegasus Park Equestrian Center, where you will be greeted by our friendly staff.
Before the commencement of your epic adventure through Byron’s Bay’s pristine Hinterland.
You will be taken through a brief introduction and shown how to handle your horse safely. Riders will be assessed and guided through varies gates which could include walk, trot & canter and simple patterns. The instructor will then decide the appropriate paces for the trail ride. Group trails will be conducted to the suitability of the least skilled rider
Once warmed up we will head for the hills!
Get out into the valleys. Here you will discover rolling hills, Breathtaking views, creek crossings, wildlife & livestock and even a hidden water hole where we will take a short break.
Group Rides can be of mixed ability’.
Group rides are conducted at the pace of the least skilled group member. Experienced riders may be able to enjoy some extra arena time at the end of the ride under supervision.

Competent riders wishing to trot or canter
Safety is our main priority therefore, before your trail ride, riders will be assessed in our arena.
Riders will be asked to perform varies gates which could include walk, trot & canter and simple patterns. The instructor will then decide the appropriate paces for the trail ride.
Private group trails will be conducted to the suitability of the least skilled rider.
Children & New Riders
Safety is our main priority Therefore, Children under 10 will be led by a guide on the day. If the child demonstrates competence from previous experience they may be allowed to ride on their own.
New riders also require a lead, Because after all horse riding is an activity that requires a certain level of skill, this is for both yourself and the horse’s safety. Your guide will give you instruction of the most important basics including posture, seat positioning, balance and basic control of the horse.
